Moore River

To celebrate my upcoming birthday, Matt and I went on an excursion up North to the Moore River Region.
I found a wild watermelon on the road, took a picture of it and shared it on Facebook. Within minutes one of my friends reacted to the picture suggesting me not to eat it, because I'd regret it. Obviously I didn't listen to him, chopped it in half after leaving it in the car for two days.
It tasted ... incredibly bitter, sour and it didn't have much pulp. I only took a small bite, to then spit it out immediately.

But remember guys : "No pain, no gain!" and I think people should always keep their adventurous, just like me and give everything a try!

Emu is so fierce despite this one is not wild.

I also saw Australia's national bird! I was so excited to see an emu! Because they weren't wild emu's, I kind of expected them to be really nice, but when I tried to approach them, they kept calling at the apple in my hand.
I finally threw my apple to them and watched them devour the fruit.

Lake, ocean, beach, formed a love triangle.

I believe that there's an invisible line and distance between people and/or things that we are never able to overcome.
Sadly enough we are pathetic human beings who try to control everything but end up ruining it either consciously or unconsciously.
At the end of the day we are just a body made out of flesh, love and emotions.

Visitors aren't allowed to camp on the beach, but we still set up our tent enjoying a romantic afternoon.

Because we left the house in a rush this morning, I forgot to pack my bikini, so I just decided to go ahead and swim in my panties.
I don't understand why people are always worried about what to pack for the trip, or why people are always worried about leaving something behind.
When traveling I don't like and don't need to stick to a rigid schedule or itinerary. I think surprises are one of the best parts of my trips!

This years birthday presents were blue sky, sound of waves, unexpected dolphins, my tan lines and sunburn. Amazing!

Guilderton,
「"Guilderton", where Moore River meets the Indian Ocean, originally known as Gabbadah, an Aborignal term meaning “mouthful of water”. This pristine estuary is in an idyllic coastal setting for a relaxing holiday in Guilderton.」--節錄自網站上的部分介紹。
